Having homosexuality is wrong. It is wrong in these reasons: The Bible is in God's words and prohibits gay marriage, and gay marriage is morally wrong.

Right before the President of the United States gets sworn into office, he is required to put his right hand in the air, and his left hand on the Holy Bible. This Bible isn't fake. It says in there four times that homosexuality is wrong:

Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"

1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

This itself should be the only reason that homosexuality is not okay. But as the years go on, people are becoming more, and more stubborn. "...There is no God...", "...The Bible doesn't say that homosexuality is wrong...".

Gay marriage is morally wrong. It is disgusting. It is as if we legalized bestiality. Someone who has a "strange addiction" to their car might as well have the right to marry his own car. Gay marriage has never been a problem in history before. So why now? Why all of a sudden? You don't have to get married to love. You don't have to get married to live with each other. You don't have to get married to have children. Why do homosexuals have to get married? They are doing it to show their affection. It's like in school where everyone sees your hot boyfriend or girlfriend. That stays in school where people learn how to mature. I don't show off my girlfriend. If we get can't get married because it is illegal, we can always pretend we're married by wearing rings on our fingers, live in the same house, adopt if we have to. Marriage is not a requirement in life.

I agree that marriage isn't necessary for two people to love each other but to some people it means more than that. No one should be denied rights because of the way they are born and just like any other person can be married so should gay couples. It is the exact same thing as saying someone with a speech impediment can't get married. Most people only use the bible to provide evidence against them but it is just an old book. It may be true but it may be not. I can choose to believe that harry potter is real and devote a religion to it but most christians would look at me strange. Marriage is no longer a (christian-exclusive) ceremony as it is embraced by many cultures and not all cultures and religions are opposed to gay marriage.
