Im a very what-if person. So here's a big one:

What if all of humanity, all of creation, is just one big memory? Or we are all imaginary? What if something in the past happened, and destroyed the whole of earth, annihilating almost all life on earth? And we are just the long and powerful dream of a coma patient, remembering what the world used to be like before the end came? Or we are all just a piece of a childs imagination? That all but one human being in the universe, are imaginary friends? And the person imagining us is just EXTREMELY imaginitive, or we somehow became self aware and run our own lives, but when this person dies, so does humanity? What if the matrix wasnt just a movie, but two men attempting to show us the truth, and we just didnt believe them? What are we? Why are we here? Who made us? How long do we have left in our lives? Feel free to comment on this theology shaking idea.

I accept

Of course, we exist. I mean, you're looking at a computer right now. Plus, if this was all apart of a child's imagination, the child will do two things:

1. If he stops imagining, we would all die.

2. We make our own decisions.

- It's not like a 7-year old girl/boy can imagine an infinite pile of space, 7 billion humans including animals, and manage to coordinate all of their cognitive decisions.

Of course, we are made from someone/something (A.K.A God), but that doesn't mean we're in some imagination bubble. It's like we create robots. Robots aren't in our imagination. It was created from our imagination and brought into existence. God created us from his imagination, and here we are on Earth. We are absolute and we exist.

Plus, it's just common sense. I mean, you see yourself right now right? So, you exist.

Exist, by definition, means "have objective reality or being." That simply means, you're there; you're alive.

Con has forfeited Round 2.

Con is basing his debate off of fiction and hypothetical circumstances, a basis that brings no validity to a debate.

("What if all of humanity, all of creation, is just one big memory? Or we are all imaginary? What if something in the past happened, and destroyed the whole of earth, annihilating almost all life on earth?")

I don't have any other case to show as my arguments. I really have nothing to rebut against besides his initial assertions in Round 1. I'm having a premonition that Con will forfeit the remaining rounds of the debate. If that happens, just extend all of my arguments to that round.

When we sleep and have dreams, doesnt the dream seem real? In fact our bodies even respond as if it's real. Ever had a wet dream? When we awaken, we realize it was just a dream and the events that were experienced did not actually happen at all. But from within the dream almost no one can deny its reality. So, my question is: How can we know what we call "life" isnt just a dream as well?
