Is it right to kill a killer, or does it make you a killer as while? Every state that has the death penalty could pick the option of sentencing convicted capital murderers to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The death penalty is just using an extensive amount of force, which has no re-dos.

Killing a killer is a tricky subject, You stoop to the level of the murderer you murder him. But with that said It is the government of a state that does the killing, they are the ones who sentence the murderer to death, and so forth. The reason this is is because when that person decided to murder another living, breathing, member of society he has given up his rights as a human being and will be treated as such. The Death penalty is a way to make sure the worst members of human society get what they gave themselves, they killed another person? or many people? they deserve to die as the punishment.

If killers weren't killed for their crimes then the worst criminals in human history would not have been killed for their crimes.

Scientific studies have consistently failed to demonstrate that executions deter people from committing crime any more than long prison sentences. Moreover, states without the death penalty have much lower murder rates. The South accounts for 80% of US executions and has the highest regional murder rate.
Also since the reinstatement of the death penalty, 140 men and women have been released from Death Row nationally, some only minutes away from execution. The danger that innocent people will be executed because of errors in the criminal justice system is getting worse.

The death penalty is just using extensive amounts of force, which has no re-dos.

The Death penalty is used to remove THE WORST of the criminals from the world, while it is also a deterrent for murderers it is used for the worst case. You wouldn't and you SHOULDN'T let a murderer of children live, you shouldn't allow a serial killer to live, they have done away with someones life and should not be allowed to keep there own. A good example is a serial killer in Europe only got 21 years in prison, his victims were children, Should he be allowed to live?

The vast majority of countries in Western Europe, North America and South America " more than 139 nations worldwide " have abandoned capital punishment in law or in practice. The United States remains in the same company as Iraq, Iran and China as one of the major advocates and users of capital punishment.
Bad Lawyers are a Persistent Problem in Capital Cases , too.
Perhaps the most important factor in determining whether a defendant will receive the death penalty is the quality of the representation he or she is provided. Almost all defendants in capital cases cannot afford their own attorneys. In many cases, the appointed attorneys are overworked, underpaid, or lacking the trial experience required for death penalty cases. There have even been instances in which lawyers appointed to a death case were so inexperienced that they were completely unprepared for the sentencing phase of the trial. Other appointed attorneys have slept through parts of the trial, or arrived at the court under the influence of alcohol.

The death penalty is a lethal lottery: of the 22,000 homicides committed every year approximately 150 people are sentenced to death. Its not for the WORST criminals, it's only for those with out any money and that have bad lawyers.

In many cases the person will be found guilty before he is even put on Trial, Police and Investigators find more and more evidence against a person and MOST are proven guilty who deserve it. You don't seem to understand, In a country like ours we cannot afford to keep prisoners in jail for life, We can't afford to feed them, we waste time and money giving the murderers of Families and Children more time to live, Hell even prisoners realize that if someone has Raped, Murdered or done anything to a child they deserve to be treated less than human.

In Europe and in the America's the death penalty is also not needed because they don't have the massive influx of people who come from all over who suddenly have freedoms they could never get in there home country. And Don't compare the United States to the Middle East or China. You say our criminals who are put on FAIR trials with a jury who sits in a room for DAYS at a time to decide their fate are treated the same as Women, Homosexuals, out spoken rioters, and everyday citizens in China or Iran? You can be EXECUTED FOR BEING ANYTHING BUT MUSLIM IN IRAN. You can be killed speaking out against your Government in China.

Our Death Penalty is the nicest death Penalty you will ever see in the world for a reason, its rarely used even in states that have them, there are people in California who have been on death row for nearly 20 years, and many of them agree that they deserve to die for there actions, We gave them the chance to defend themselves in court, we investigated them, with the technology we have a person will be found guilty through evidence and even if that happens if the person confesses he/she will have a higher chance for life in prison than the death penalty. That is why I say it is for the worst criminals, the people who commit the school shootings, who shoot up hospitals, who murder children and Police are forced to put them down without the use of Habeus Corpus, the people who deserve the punishment.
