Pro

Learning is a child's responsibility because teachers and parents can not force the kids to learn they have to do it themselves. If the teacher is doing something on the board and the child is not concentrating it is the child's responsibilty.

No because of Blah. The teachers are entitled to teach and so we should let tehm teach and blah if they want.

It's a little of both. While children past a certain age are held responsible for their grades and knowledge-retention, it's up to their educators to provide a environment and strategy conducive to learning.

Just my opinion here, public education is nothing more than a full-time babysitting facility. If parents are in a good financial situation and are really serious about giving a decent education, they should consider alternative schools or homeschooling.
