Language is the start(beginning) of all things.
Before mathematics, their were languages.
We learnt to speak before we could count.
If maths were to be taken away we would still survive. But if language were to be taken away from us we would all be mute and dumb. We would lose all sense of communication and the world will stand still. If language were to be taken away, we would not even have names.
If mathematics were to be taken from us, we would go back time but all would not be lost. However the lost of languages would be catastrophic as a new language would need to be created all over again. Perhaps that is a blessing in disguise for the world will now speak one language and barriers will be surpassed.

Millions of years ago, most people lived in nomadic tribes. During these times, there were no languages. But they still bartered and traded. But how could this be! If man actually needs to speech a language to count, then that must be impossible! I propose that man could still count without language, and that math is actually more important to globalization than language is.

Example 1:
The silk road, the trade root from China to Europe. Many different languages were spoken on it, so how could people trade on it? Simple. Using there fingers, and writing out numbers, as well as pointing.

Well, you both should have started with, "What is Language?" Math is a language. It is the language of creation. It is the language we use to understand nature around us. I wanted you both to properly define language because you can have: The Programming Languages, Math(The Language of Nature), speaking languages, Morse code, ect... Try to understand what language you both are talking about, then start listing and explaining the two. P.S: LordJiine, How can Man figure out how to barter and trade without communication, along with where is your proof of this reason? Englishtutoring, think about the contributions math gives to (speaking languages). There is math in grammar, along with the association with us using our "speaking language" to explain math and how we use math in everyday talk. Think about the way you talk everyday and how much math you actually use in talk, both direct and implied. Have a great fight, I will be watching.
