According to the International Labour Organization, nearly 21 million people are considered victims of forced labour. Of these 21 million, an estimated amount of 4.5 million are victims of forced sexual exploitation. Another large factor is child labour. Currently, there are approximately 168 million children in child labour. Over half of them are working under highly dangerous conditions. For these reasons, slavery is certainly still an issue in the 21st century.

Pro failed to offer any definitions. I shall now proceed to do so.

Slavery: the practice or system of owning slaves. (http://www.oxforddictionaries.com...)
Still: up to and including the present or the time mentioned. (http://www.oxforddictionaries.com...)
Issue: problems or difficulties, especially with a service or facility. (http://www.oxforddictionaries.com...)

Fully expanded resolution: The practice, or system, of owning slaves is a problem and difficulty with the services and facilities up to and including the 21st Century.

There is not one single nation of the 21st Century that has legalised slavery and there is no case of slavery whereby the practice or system of it had difficulty with its servicing or facilities.

In the UK, for example, there was a slavery abolition act in 1833 (http://en.wikipedia.org...) that outlawed any and all slavery and was successfully implemented by 1843 throughout the entire UK.

When slavery occurs in the 21st century it's not a problem or difficulty, it is merely an undeniable crime. There has been no nation throughout the entire world that has ever had a problem of slavery in the 21st Century. It is no longer an issue and hasn't been for years.

Absolutely. A lot of people are just unaware. It's just in a more physiological state of slavery than physical cotton picking.

What exactly do you mean by an "issue" in this context?

I agree
There is also the slavery of drug addiction where the addict brings cash to the dealer
and then goes panhandling or prostituting themselves for cash for the next fixx.
