The Torah or Pentateuch is still abiding in the Christian faith because in order to be a Christian you must believe in Christ. Christ = The Word = The Law of God = Perfection.

John 1:1 KJV - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Psalms 19:7 KJV - "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple."

Matthew 23:1-3 KJV - "Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not."A279;

Historically, Moses' seat was a place in the synagogues where they would read only the Pentateuch without any commentary. The Pharisees would read from it directly but their actions would not line up with what they were reading. Jesus tells us to follow what they say which is the Pentateuch.

Matthew 5:17-19 KJV - "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."A279;

Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV - "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."A279;

Romans 2:12-13 KJV - "For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified."A279;

2 Peter 3:17 KJV - "Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked (wicked = sinful = sin = transgression of the Law or lawlessness, some translations use "lawless" such as the ESV), fall from your own stedfastness."

Is the Torah or Pentateuch still abiding in the Christian faith ?

Do Christians still murder ?
Do Christians still lie ?
Do Christians still give false witness ?
Do Christians still stand by while Jesus hangs on the cross and do nothing ?

All that has weened in its ferocity is the killing of the first born male babies which undoubtedly bothers the true follower of Yahweh/Jehova as much as the existence of all those who challenge his lies.

However, as we take a good look at the murderous rampage and slaughter of all non believers of Yahwah/Jehova/Allah then we can safely say that, although not as much blood is being spilled as a good Christian likes to see.

They are indeed still abiding by the Torah and its Pentateuch.
