I think it is, and Con must try to prove otherwise.

Round 1 is acceptance.

Round 2 and up are arguments.

I will gladly accept anyone to debatet this with.

My argument goes as follows...

Similar to the civil war in 1861-65 States had reasons to secede and combat each other. One reason was "Sectionalism" loyalty to interests of a region. America NOW has big signs of this. Sectionalism then was between political views and economy. Today, the south (or the majority of it) have completely OPPOSITE ideas than the north. Texas supports gun rights, NY doesn't. Sectionalism is the first sign of a civil war.

Another sign is tyranny. You might not agree that Obama is a tyrant but you can't deny that he had the IRS target conservatives, Christians, NRA members, and Pro-Israel citizens. Heavy taxation is one thing Obama is doing to the people. A similar reason why the USA fought the UK in the Revolutionary War. Another sign of a civil war.

Another reason why the states seceded was because of the election of Abraham Lincoln. With the elections coming up, if Hilary gets elected the Republican states might get furious and have protests. Signs of this with Obama's ridiculous laws have occurred in Texas when protesters stopped the bus with immigrants when Obama allowed them to come in.

I do not think that until fort sumpter that too many people thought that civil war was about to erupt. And we would not know till it happened here. I do know that Obama has done everything he could to provoke a civil war. Because he would like nothing better than to declare martial law. They already did it in Boston after that bombing at the long distance race. The one thing that has kept the democrats in check is the second amendant. There are 300,000,000 guns out there that they were not successful to confiscate.

That's not how burden of proof works. If you're arguing that something that is not status quo is actually true or going to happen, then you have to prove why. Otherwise the status quo is assumed to be continuous.
