Pro

In life sometimes what a body of people say is wrong. Should we accept that? We've adopted a holiday in American to celebrate Dr. King who stood up against the government itself and died for what he believed. Now that would be considered civil disobedience.
Wylted

Con

As per the norms on this site, I will use the first round for acceptance and wish my opponent good luck.

My case circled around proving every single instance bad, maybe one day I'll get to use the argument

This debate would've been very easy to win for Pro, all he had to do is provide an example of at least 1 instance and define sometimes to fit the definition and would thus win the debate on semantics.

Add the words "In Democracies" to the end of your resolution and I may take it.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct - Con. Pro forfeited multiple rounds. Arguments - Con. Pro failed to uphold his BOP by not presenting any arguments to affirm the resolution. For that, Con wins arguments. Clear win for Con.

Reasons for voting decision: I wouldn't call that a BoP failure, the mention of MLK is a powerful tool. It was however nothing worth awarding points for. That multiplied by bad conduct...

Reasons for voting decision: No arguments to affirm the resolution means that Pro fails to meet his/her BoP and he/she loses conduct.
