First let me say that I mean no disrespect or anything of the sort when I use the phrase black people. I dont get offended when people say im white. You are what you are. I don't like how many black people seem to have a major chip on their shoulders towards white people. For example the Treyvon Martin murder (in my opinion zimmerman was dead wrong and should spend life in prison) the black community was outraged but shortly after 2 young black men killed a black store manager and they only got 5 years I believe. There was no community outrage from the same crowd that protested the Martin case.

The African American community are still being discriminated against till this day. To support my argument I would like to start off with when Barack Obama was elected as President in 2010. Kaylon Johnson, a 32-year-old volunteer worker for the Barack Obama campaign, was badly beaten by a Texan man for wearing a Barack Obama t-shirt in Shreveport, LA.

Unfortunately this is one of the many stories that have occurred recently after Obama was elected. You can see for yourself as I post these links.

Personally, I say it is too much of a coincidence to have that many crimes occur to the black community after having Barack Obama win the election.

I think any racism that may exist stems from the media constantly showing blacks involved in some sort of criminal activity. I can say from just the people ive known personally they all had criminal records by the time they were 21. Another problem many people have is the "victim" card is constantly being used. The one thing that really irritates me is the seemingly universal belief that they are entitled to something just because they're black. I've heard the "my ancestors were slaves to the white people" card more times than I can count. They get their own college but if a caucasian college were established we would be considered racist. They have the BET channel but again if there was a WET channel we would be considered racist.

This is an extremely weak argument. You do realize that most colleges are indeed "caucasian" colleges, yes? Most colleges don't need to bother sticking a "whites college" sign in front of their doorstep, because most colleges are indeed almost all whites.

Also, you can still work on BET or attend a "black college" if you're not black.

All minorities are discriminated against to this day.

Asians are vastly underrepresented compared to whites in elite colleges, despite outperforming them.

Muslims and Blacks are 2-3x less likely to be offered a job with the same credentials, then a white person.

Blacks and Hispanics use drugs and possess contraband at a rate equal to, or sometimes less, then whites, but are stopped and searched 9x as much, leading to a large minority population in prison.

These are a few examples.
