Debate Round No. 1

Racism-is-right forfeited this round.

Oxford English Dictionary defines war as:

"A state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state"

Imagine if you will, a scenario in which a splinter group causes acts of terror in an isolated part of a country or the world. The proper response would be to dispatch armed forces to bring the assailants to order. However, if the assailants are numbering in the tens of thousands, an army would be needed for this, making it an act of war.

I think if it can't be solved with words first, it should be solved with actions.

If someone were raping your child, war would be the answer.Grow up. There is evil in the world. The only way to stop a bad man or country with a gun is a good man with a gun.Chamberlain tried your approach. And after 60,000,000 people killed in WW2 history now says it was the wrong approach.
