In terms of the current political election in the United Kingdom, David Cameron representing the conservative party, stated that his position was to cut welfare and improve the NHS. Strong Welfare in countries like Greece have added to growing debt problems and have placed them in an employment crisis. Should welfare be a expense payed by the individual? Or should welfare be a priority for any government?

Thanks for creating a debate. Just to be clear, you are on the 'con side' of what argument? The topic and your introductory note do not clear position your point.
I am PRO which point, you are CON, which point?

Both welfare and government run national health care are bad. A Country would do better without both.
