I will be using my comment for my debate because I thought it had a criteria policy. It seems I was mistaken. The rules of this debate does not say anything about using my acceptance comment as my debate. As it says it in the title Is Yoga a science or just exercise? Well, it can be science. When people are doing yoga or talking about it, they often think about it referring to exercise. Yoga is a science that deals with body, breath, mind, Soul, and and Ultimately, the Universe Itself. (Sankhya and the Yoga Sutras) by Swami Rama. From: Samadhi: The Highest State of Wisdom

What the Science Says About Yoga

Current research suggests that a carefully adapted set of yoga poses may reduce low-back pain and improve function. Other studies also suggest that practicing yoga (as well as other forms of regular exercise) might improve quality of life; reduce stress; lower heart rate and blood pressure; help relieve anxiety, depression, and insomnia; and improve overall physical fitness, strength, and flexibility. But some research suggests yoga may not improve asthma, and studies looking at yoga and arthritis have had mixed results. https://nccih.nih.gov......

Yoga has a lot of benefits for the body such as All exercise has been shown to help people with depression feel better, and yoga is no exception. In fact, a study from Duke University Medical Center suggested that yoga could benefit those living with depression, schizophrenia, other psychiatric conditions, and sleep problems. Multiple studies have found yoga to be a more effective treatment for chronic back pain than usual care. In a study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, people living with chronic lower back pain reported better back function, though similar levels of pain, after a few months of practicing yoga. In recent years, couples have increasingly turned to yoga as a means of decreasing stress and increasing their chances of conceiving a child. And though there are few studies that indicate that yoga benefits include enhancing fertility, it has been shown to reduce stress and could indeed play a role. http://www.everydayhealth.com...

What does it mean, "Yoga is a science". Does that mean Yoga has health benefits or what?
