Good thing about going first in a music contest is that you can always choose the best xD. First Selection is Glenn Miller's "Moonlight Serenade"

And then Benny Goodman's "Let's Dance"

Linkish1O2

Con

Playing Glenn Miller against me! I should have known. Fine looks like I will one up you with Glenn Miller's own in the mood!

This is also a great song by my second favorite artist Duke Ellington! I present to you "Take the "A" train."

I hope you know I am not going to make this easy for you!

Here I go with the best of Kenny Clarke, this ones called 52nd street.

This next song is brought to you by Kenny Clarke and Dizzy Gillespie, the name of the beautiful jazz? Manteca.

Both of these are Post 80s made in the 2000s so its got a nice futuristic tone to them. genre? this is considered electric swing, classified as retro swing jazz.

Reasons for voting decision: I cant believe this but im giving a slight edge to con. I fuking loved bill davison and kenny clarke. Its a slight slight edge as pro had some amazing songs as well. The glenn miller orchesta , was pure perfection. All in all really close debate but slight edge to con

Reasons for voting decision: man, you guys owe me an hour of my time back... onto voting! Round 1: This was a draw; both sides had interesting pieces but I felt that any were significantly better than the opposing sides. ROUND2: KC1999. Kc won this with his two pieces being better than linkish's; they had a better style and nicer mood to it. ROUND3: LINKISH. This was a close call. From krit there was the April in Paris which was nice but was beaten by con's awesome choice of Manteca. Round4: DRAW. ROUND5: linkish won. Sorry to say, but cons pieces absolutely killed it. They were a lot more stylish, likeable and better sounding pieces. So the score is 1-2 so I will assign the points as following: S&G to Krit = 1 point and sources to LINKISh= 2 points.
