Round one is acceptance
Round two is arguments
Round three is rebuttal

I am taking the side of Justin Bieber is not a good role model
Boesball

Con

I'm extremely anti-bieber. I can't express how much i despise him, but there is some reasons I will go for him being a good "role model". He isn't a good person, but role model could be argued for.

Pro

Justin Bieber is not a good role model for several reasons. To start, he drove drunk (http://www.cnn.com...). He also had taken drugs (http://www.mtv.com...). Justin Bieber has started several fights (http://m.tmz.com...)
Boesball

Con

Morally "JB" is not a good role model.

He is however a good model of how the role he has in life often messes people up. He accidentaly shows society that being rich and famous can make you a bad person, and therefore you should always stick to the values that you develop from your parents and your morals. JB is a model of a life that has the role of being rich and famous, and he is good at showing us how it makes you messed up.

So you say he's a good role model in the sense he shows us what not to do? But what about those who would give anything to be like Bieber, and so they smoke, because he does.
Boesball

Con

And Bieber shows them all the bad things that will happen to them if they smoke. It's unlikely that people will follow Bieber, and is more likely that they will turn away from him because he's so dislikable. Only 20% of Americans admit they "like" JB, and that is good (1). The fact that not many people likes him means that his persona turns people away from being like him. Therefore, he does make others be "better" people because they hate his music and don't want to exhibit his traits.

Thanks for the fun debate! Please vote fair.

This debate is kinda over before it began.

You might as well debate saying "Hitler was a bad person". Nobody wants to accept such debate.

Reasons for voting decision: I'd like to point out that pro never considered that there could be some people out there who see JB as a good role model in their eyes regardless of the morality of his actions and if pro did realize this then he/she should have defined what a good role model was for the purposes of this debate. I would also like to state that I voted for con because pro didn't give the debate any direction, leaving con to take any approach to refute the resolution.
