Justin Bieber is a horrible influence on our beautiful country. Harassing flight attendants, doing drugs and alcohol behind the wheel of a car that isn't even his, and beating up limo drivers; I mean, this kid is horrible.

Well, that may be true, but the country can't deport him over drunk driving. Most people know already know that drugs are a bad idea, and that drinking a driving are a bad idea. How come one case of drunk driving is receiving more attention that all the shootings going on in our country? If we deported everyone of minor charges like drunk driving, I doubt that there would be many people left in this country, everyone makes a mistake sometimes, and then learn from their mistakes.

Pro

While you make a good point, the government can't deport U.S. citizens. Bieber is not a U.S. citizen. Everyone does make a mistake, and it would be hard to learn from it when your dad is making the same mistake. They were both smoking pot and both harassing that girl. I draw the line at disrespecting women.

Even though you forfeit, the country can deport him because a petition passed and the government can consider it.

If we deport Bieber we would look like children. We don't deport people who break gun control laws, aren't they bad influences when they buy illegal assault rifles. How about all the child molesters.

I agree Justin Beiber has something... Seriously messed up going on in his head. But deported? He should be charged for his crimes like a normal person, not a celebrity, definitely, but deported is a bit extreme. I hate the way celebrities get privillages in court...

He didn't do anything bad enough to get deported.

Well, immigrants who come to America and become citizens are different. Bieber is not an immigrant. He is a Canadian citizen. He has a green card in America.

Molecular bird, we can't deport U.S. citizens I don't know what is so hard about understanding that.

Obama himself said he had no intention to deport Justin Bieber. And there is no reason for him to be deported. There a lot more important things that we could do to make our country better. Stop worrying about a 19 year old kid. He made stupid mistakes, we get it. But he didn't kill anyone and didn't do enough to get himself deported.

He didn't assault a limo driver. He turned himself in as a witness.

Wow. Now his deportation seems a bit more valid. Did not know he assaulted a limo driver.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct points to Pro, seeing as Con had forfeited multiple rounds and made an attempt at new arguments/rebuttals in the final round. While both sides had decent opening arguments, Pro takes the points for successfully refuting his opponent's case and keeping his points entirely valid throughout the debate. Pro actually cited sources.

Reasons for voting decision: Con forfeited several rounds, costing him points in conduct. Both Pro and Con made equally convincing arguments in Round 1, but Pro countered Con's statements in Round 2 very well. Pro's refutation and new points remained unchallenged by Con.
