Kid should start school earlier because then they will go to bed earlier and get more sleep and wont be so tired and then they can learn more and plus they'll have more time for after school activity's and they can get out of school earlier and can hangout with friends more!!!
JizzyJewls

Con

If kids start early in the morning they wont have the time to be up. They will not be up and running. If you start school later they will have time to get up and running and the brain will be functioning .

Yes you might think that but if they have to go to school earlier they will go to bed earlier so they wont be tired
JizzyJewls

Con

If they go to school later they will have time to sleep in!

but if they go to school later then they will think that its ok to go to bed really late so they should go to school earlier so they cant stay up late that they have to go to bed early......
JizzyJewls

Con

The entire concept of someone going to bed early is to get up early if they do not have to get up early then they can stay up late it is just a mater of perspective.

Reasons for voting decision: Well first off this was a really poorly structured debate, second YOU BOTH NEED SOURCES. Pro won marginally because of their opening stamens and point about the fact that by letting kids go to bed later they will think this is ok and thus it will produce an unhealthy environment for learning, life, ect. I would have given this to Con if they had any real argument of their own because they did a good job of refutations but you simply can?t wins case based on refutations it won?t work.

Reasons for voting decision: You guys should have provided numbers, how much earlier? You also should have, except saying what the effect would be, argue why that effect is important. I will award Con because he made one counter-argument (round 3), but you both lost.
