Pro

We should not wear uniform to school because then kids wear what they want and don't have to worry about getting it dirty.
birdlandmemories

Con

I accept this debate. I will start out by saying that wearing uniforms means that kids won't wear any inappropriate clothing.
Debate Round No. 1

Pro

But I go to school that doesn't have uniform and in that school we have a rule that we aren't aloud to wear inappropriate clothing other wise they'll go to the principal.

Con

Thank you, pro for your, er... arguments. I will now keep mine arguments short.

My opponent says there is a rule that says kids aren't allowed to wear inappropriate clothing, but do kids always follow the rules? Also, with uniforms, the kid is dressed neater, and it looks like they actually care about personal hygiene. Also, since most uniforms require you to dress nice, and dressing nice is a sign of self respect, uniforms show respect.

Thank you.

Pro

When I go to school in the morning I don't have to worry about keeping my clothes ironed and when I wake up I just wake up go for a shower. Then I just take something out from my closet and wear what I want.

Con

birdlandmemories forfeited this round.

Reasons for voting decision: Well, Pro provided no actual argument to support his side. He cited his own personal experience as a source. Con made a counter agrgument to pro's point. Pro didn't even try to refute Con's argument. So, the convincing part goes to Con. None of them cited any sources. Pro citing his own experiece as a source is not reliable. Con forfeited the last round. He shouldn't have forfeited the last round. So, conduct goes to Pro.

Reasons for voting decision: Con asked " do kids always follow the rules? " this argument applies equally well to both positions. Pro gave several good reasons uniforms aren't preferable. Reasons that should have been easily refuted but weren't. S&G go to con for obvious reasons. Pro gets conduct for cons forfeit.
