Debate Round No. 2
DATXDUDE

Pro

I am God. I demote you to peasant.
KingofEverything

Con

If I am the King of EVERYTHING, that includes Gods, so I rule you as well.
Debate Round No. 3
DATXDUDE

Pro

Gods are not things, though. They don't even necessarily have to be composed of matter. The idea of god is extremely vague. It can mean many things, even concepts.

Vote Pro.
KingofEverything

Con

Well if a God isn't a thing, I don't have to rule you since a God is not a thing, rather, I just have to be the king of everything that is a thing. And since you carried the Burden of Proof, you never showed that I wasn't the king of everything. All you did was contradict yourself.

3 points to Pro (Arguments). Reasons for voting decision: Initially, I agreed that that King of Everything was in fact the king of everything. But then he was demoted. Since the debate was framed using the verb "is," I feel at that point Pro ceased to be the king of everything, though Pro did remain in fact KingofEverything. While I realize that KingofEverything may have been in charge of Gods, I wasn't convinced he was in charge of an omniscient all-powerful single God, which is apparently Pro's position. So I awarded the win to Pro.

[*Reason for non-removal*] The voter does explain their decision within the context of the arguments given and the basic definitions of the debate.

Reasons for voting decision: Yeah... I don't know what Pro was trying to do here. Merely asserting that he's God doesn't earn him the debate - it's just an assertion to counter an assertion. If I don't want to vote on BoP, though, Con makes a good point that, if God is not a thing, then he doesn't have to rule you in order for him to rule everything. With those two factors in mind, I vote Con.

Reasons for voting decision: Pro never actually proved he wasn't king. He just said He is god, and he demotes him, but fails to explain why he is god, and how he plans on doing that.

Reasons for voting decision: Pro conceded that con is the king of everything by attempting to demote him to a peasant. He must have been a king to be demoted. Pro never contests with the fact that he is the king apart from when he says that he is demoting him. Since Con was the king of everything that meant that he is superior to God himself since he is the king of everything. I award pro the conduct point since whilst Con did say that he was the king of everything, he did still break the rules of the debate by accepting in the first round. Pro carried the Burden of proof and instead of arguing that the king of everything wasn't the king of everything all he did was assert that he was God and defended the fact that the kingofeverything is not the king of God.
