I am not part of the LGBT community but that doesn't mean i can't support the members. Why don't gays, lesbians, transgenders get the same rights as everyone else?
nerdydork4044

Con

I think we should begin by posting definitions.
All of my definitions are from www.dictionary.com

LGBT: relating to lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders collectively

Rights: moral, ethical, or legal principle considered as an underlying cause of truth, justice, morality, or ethics.

Just because they (LGBT members) are a minority, doesn't mean that they don't have morals or ethics. So what point are you trying to make by posting definitions?

Con

I am only posting the definitions so that the viewers can know what the words mean.

Incorrect, T stands for transgender. Gender doesn't equal sexual orientation."

A transgender is a person who wishes to be considered as a member of the opposite sex. On the other hand, a hermaphrodite is a person who has both male and female reproductive organs.
Transgender people feel that they are born in the wrong body, I suppose...

I feel like I would accept this debate, but I would be arguing whether or not they have rights. I personally believe that they have more rights, at least socially, as other people. I'm bisexual, therefore part of the community, and I experience very little discrimination if any regarding my sexuality. Deal with it. They have rights. It's just the social justice warriors pushing their agenda of victimhood. Don't be brainwashed.

True, I know people who know B is for Bisexual, but think bisexual means hermaphrodite. LGBT is all sexual orientation, nothing about body parts or sexual organs. When will people be knowledgeable!"

One problem with LGBT is people are still ignorant, they don't know what the letters stand for, I didn't know what the letters stood for until recently. Once people figure out the acronym they still know almost nothing about LGBT except for what they are taught from the church and anti-gay groups.

Often this anti-gay sentiment comes in the form of your friends. Your best friend who never showed any signs of being anti-gay, or anti-African American, and so forth, starts making simply random anti-gay and racist remarks. You can't help but laugh too you want to be included.

What you would have readily dismissed if it was labeled and came directly from an anti-gay group, is accepted because you like your friend.

After years of this, you realized you've changed. That without even knowing it you have taken on your best friend's values.

The desire to belong and to be accepted is strong. I for one am intelligent, and have faced discrimination for being smart. I find it difficult to forge new friend ships and maintain old friend ships.

By the time you learn about the others like bi-sexual and transgender you are already prejudice against them before you even know what they are.

They don't have the same rights, because a big part of human beings find anyone even slightly different as a 'creep' and outcast them. No one wants to accept something out of their beliefs.... GoOrDin might be an example here, thinking that slangs make you look cool 😂😂

Be more specific about "rights." Depending on your answer, I may debate.
