Even though many do not argue against laughing, studies have proven that as they average adult ages they laugh up to twenty-five times less than when they were in kindergarten. There are too many positive benefits laughing brings about to let this happen.
Laughter benefits us physically, mentally, and socially. From laughter, we enhance our immune system; therefore, we are less likely to become sick. Our levels of stress are decreased. This leads us to thinking and acting more clearly and creatively. Also, people are more attracted to us, and it is easier to make and improve relationships of any kind.
Because of all the many benefits of laughing, we cannot afford to stop laughing as we age. No reason is great enough to laugh less, and nothing can make up from the loss benefits that we will not gain. If one starts laughing, they will notice the benefits today!

INTRO
================================
I would like to thank my opponent for starting this interesting debate. I would also like to thank the audience for reading.

RESOLUTION
================================
Your resolution seems a bit blurry, but I think I have it.
Your Resolution is that people should laugh just as much as they did when they were younger.

DEFINITIONS
================================
Laughing: An audible expression or the appearance of happiness, or an inward feeling of joy (laughing on the inside). It may ensue (as a physiological reaction) from jokes, tickling, and other stimuli.

ARGUMENT
===============================
Although laughing can be good, it can have negative effects on a person's body.
Strong laughter can sometimes bring an onset of tears or even moderate muscular pain
This would not be good for a person as they grow older.
Elderly people have diseases that eat away at their muscles
Laughing as much as kids do would in the end bring more harm than good.
Kids laugh a lot, but it is because things just seem funnier to them.
Now a day, people get irritated with people laughing all the time like little kids.
It is shown that nursery kids laugh 18 - 45 times per hour!
Adults laugh about 15 times a day.
That means that we would laugh in a twelve hour span about 20 more times than we do normally.
Nothing would be taken seriously.
Telemarketers can't just laugh all the time when on the phone, who would take them seriously?
Funerals would be a joke, everyone sitting in one room laughing over a dead body.
----------------------------------------------------
Something else to think about, we would be ripping one all the time!
Laughing relaxes muscles.
When this happens it is impossible not to gas.
That is why kids always let out leak and stink up the room.
It is the same thing with peeing and pooping.
The elderly already have weak bladders, why would we want them to lose total control?
Would you be okay if your grandmother ripped one every time you walked into the room?
People will definitely not be more attracted to you.
------------------------------------------
You claim,
"If one starts laughing, they will notice the benefits today!"
Well, that does sound like a pretty good infomercial, I'll give you that. But like all infomercials the benefits are not as good as they seem. Laughing will most likely not save countless lives, scientist say that chocolate helps you to. Does this mean we should eat chocolate everyday?

The resolution has been negated.
