Pro

I am convinced that the use of Euthanasia is morally correct.
I think that when a person is so sick that he/she cannot do anything else than suffering laying in a bed, he/she should have the opportunity to end his/her life to avoid further pain. This ideology of mine comes from the belief that a life full of suffering is not worth living.
I honestly thought most people had same conviction as me, but it has come to my mind that this is not the case. Therefore, I now ask you; Is euthanasia morally incorrect? Please add a comment describing why you feel like you do.
ViceRegent

Con

Murder is morally unacceptable. Since you disagree in the case of self-murder for the really sick, I must ask on what basis do you determine your morality? Is it objective or subjective, rational or emotive, arbitrary or non-arbitrary?

Reasons for voting decision: First I have to give the conduct point to Con because of the forfeits from Pro. However, the better arguments were from the Pro's side. The debate was really short because Pro forfeited two rounds and Con didn't take advantage of that, It was a 1 round debate. Pro gave 1 argument to support his stance:" that a life full of suffering is not worth living". On the other hand, Con didn't debunk Pro's argument. Con just gave his opinion that Murder is always morally incorrect, but He did not show any reasoning to this statement. So the only argument that stands is Pro's one.
