....In this argument, I will be putting forward my views of why the coalition government between the Liberal democrats and the Conservative parties is a good thing anyone who wishes to participate in the argument can do so if they so wish. They may put forward a better view upon being the pro for the coalition government or be completely against it.

A liberal conservative coalition government would be terrible as it completely deludes the meaning of conservatism, how are people supposed to recognize the true conservative stance in the UK if the only ones putting forth is this faux conservative coalition.

Also as the two political parties are almost completely opposite the coalition government would remain divided and ineffective.

Not to mention it would also denigrate the position of Prime Minister as Nick Clegg will always be there to steal McClaggen's tunder.

Thank You.

A Liberal/Conservative coalition government would in essence extinguish conservatism from the political landscape.

Extend all arguments.

I don't watch TV, but I know exactly what Pro was talking about. It's been pretty well covered by basically any political or foreign affairs blog or website.

Best oxymoron: Liberal-Conservative, but I guess all the major UK parties are progressive even the conservatives.

Our only knowledge of things outside of the United States comes from the Internets. We're like North Korea and China.
