Good luck. I hope we both come away learning something.
Life - the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter
Death - the end of life
Dark_Energy forfeited this round.
My opponent has forfeited the first round. Out of courtesy, I will refrain from posting my arguments this round. However, conduct for the debate must be awarded to me.
If you like, we can continue. The issue has been resolved. But I'm not sure what the protocol is if one misses a round.
Usually, the response is to apologize and continue with the debate, while awarding conduct points to the opponent. However, as there is only one round left it would be easier to simply set up a new debate, or abandon this one entirely.
I'll leave the decision up to you.
