Con

I challenged Throwback to a debate in response to his comment saying that I cannot justify the idea that life lacks value. I would like to say that this is not an attack on the person at all , just a good clash of intellect which is what this site is for - should he choose to accept.

I quite simply believe that life does not have value.

Quick Oxford Definitions
Value :
1. The regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something:
2. Consider (someone or something) to be important or beneficial

Round 1 is acceptance only.

Pro

I accept the challenge to this debate. I wish to congratulate my opponent in advance on his honest and sincere presentation of his points. I also thank Con for not making a personal attack. The thought is reciprocated, and I look forward, win or lose, to the intellectual fight.

Con: "I quite simply believe that life does not have value."

I quite simply disagree.

My previous comment was a result of misreading your definitions. My apologies.

If it is acceptable to ask and prior to deciding to accept or decline, the challenged would like to know the relevance of the definition of 'consider' to the debate.
