Please only accept if you will take this seriously and respond, First round will be acceptance and then rebuttals and arguments. The definition of "luck" in this context will be "good or bad fortune considered as the result of pure chance. My opponent will try to prove that everything has an explanation and nothing happens by pure chance.
jamonster

Con

Luck is obviously real because of coins and dice. People play games such as monopoly or life, where people use dice or random numbers. Luck is used in these games because of luck.

That is what my argument is! I'm glad we agree but I kind of wanted to have a debate here.
jamonster

Con

Oh ok then... Luck is not real because dice are rigged.

That's ok you don't have to argue about something you don't believe in. Lets just judge by who can pull out the coolest quote in the last round. I'll go first.

"I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts, and beer."
-Abraham Lincoln
jamonster

Con

"You are gay"

Reasons for voting decision: Judged entirely on the last round. Pro gets conduct for trying to make the debate a challenge and save it when con screwed it up. Pro also has a better quote. An even better quit from Lincoln is this: "Drop beats not Bombs"

Reasons for voting decision: Con made arguments in favour of the resolution, then made a poor argument and an irrelevant quote, when he realised that he was arguing on the wrong side.

Reasons for voting decision: WTH. Con's last quote was funny. But Pro defended the resolution and that's how I am to judge the debate.
