Many Americans are overweight, especially at a young age, and physical education is only given to them for a certain amount of years throughout their school life. It should be an obligation to make PE an everyday class where students work out for at least an hour and learn the best exercises to do for certain fat located in the body. If no one teaches them, they will never know how to lose weight they've gained. The health of students should play a important role in their education. Kids need to stay healthy and live a healthy life style. They need to work out, get fit. Obesity is becoming an average american thing, and it should not be that way.

So do you suggest that you stop students doing the subjects that they like and make them spend an hour a day doing a subject that may be completely irrelevant to their future?

Besides, I live in the U.K. and I do P.E. twice a week at school for 2 hours altogether. While I achieve well academically, I do not in P.E. and it seems that sport is all anyone cares about nowadays and you are assumed to be lazy if you can't do it.

It will not stop students from doing the subjects they like, PE should be a class. where time is given to you in school to work out, stay fit, run, be active for a while. Its healthy for people to be active for a while throughout their day. You are not considered lazy, but do you really want to keep seeing obesity present, especially in the generations to come? PE is already starting to wear out. No one sees it as important. When it actually plays a big role in your health.

Reasons for voting decision: Left gets the conduct vote for participating in all three arguments. Other than that, not much meat to chew on. On an unrelated note, it's not likely I'll ever get the duck lip thing. Did not affect the vote.
