First off marijuana is not even harmful. I have been reading around this website and many people say it is but have no proof to prove that second hand marijuana smoking is harmful. Second, there are ways that marijuana can be used for medical purposes and help people. One example is one that has cancer and has no appetite, marijuana will give the so called "munchies" to that person and make them eat. And that is only one example there are plenty more.
I am a Criminology and Criminal Justice student and your view of marijuana is completely irrelevant. Marijuana has been tested by many research labs including the CDC, as being harmful and sometimes fatal to your brains overall functions. Marijuana has a toxin called cannabis, which is extremely addictive. This addiction can cause the human body to draw withdraws from he cannabis at any given time of the day. These withdraws can be matched the that of cigarette smoking, as in the addiction causes the smoker to want more nicotine levels. On top of all of this, it is extremely difficult for a marijuana smoker/consumer to maintain a steady job or even find a job for numerous reasons. Don't expect to find a salary job in the workforce that allows you to smoke marijuana. If you do find a job congratulations on working at McDonald's. Other than that, Colorado has already petitioned on banning their legal use of marijuana, and it is foreseen that many other states will follow Colorado's model
