Masturbating is not only disturbing for others to hear and listen about. Imagine listening to someone talk about their vagina or dildos. it would be unnatural and very disturbing. imagine a little kid sitting around their parents when one brings up that they masturbated the other day and took 3 minutes to cum. it's absolutely disgraceful

I can see where you are coming from, but I disagree. When someone masturbates, they make the same noises they would when having sex. Which we need for humanity to survive. And at this website http://www.menshealth.com... it shows that masturbation has health benefits as well as feeling good. Here http://www.vice.com... it states that women don't talk as openly about masturbation than as men do. So if you were in public you probably wouldn't hear anything about vaginas unless it was from a guy. And if you feel uncomfortable, just walk away. If parents talk about sex/masturbation in front of their kids, that is their choice. Plus according to http://www.parenting.com... kids don't truly understand sex until 11 years old. So even if a parent talked about cuming in front of the kid, it probably wouldn't understand. And I would like to add that how would the cops know if someone is masturbating? And would they come and arrest them while they are doing it?

your arguments are well stated, however, this topic is not about masturbation for women. As you have already stated, women don't talk about masturbation as much as men do. Which leads to my next point. Masturbation is extremely unhygienic and unhealthy for the 'person in crime'. do you realise how much mental damage this does to our psychological status? When a person is masturbating, a sensation is vibrated around the body, making the person feel extreme pain or rush. This is very bad for he human body and will well put us into risk. For example, vagina disease or Penis pain. (sorry for the language). It will also send millions of germs into the human body, for example, the finger germs or plastic germs when women use fingers or dildos to masturbate. this can not be avoided, due to the lack of self consciousness during the process. Also in the bureau of statistics, it stated that washing will only kill a shocking 50% of the germs. Thus, this proves that it will cause major risks for those who do.

PS. if I don't get to, good game to you Panda! Thank you for participating in my first debate. I feel obligated and privileged to debate with you. once again, thank you

You said that we weren't talking about women masturbating but then you go and talk about it. Many women wash their hands before and after it. You say that it creates extreme pain but it creates absolute pleasure. You can't go making blind accusations without proof. If masturbating hurt, people would not do it. You also say that you get diseases but you can't get herpes just by jerking off, you need to have sex. You say that it is unhealthy but I disproved that in the last round. I can see where you say that it is unhygienic. But that is that persons problem. Like after having sex, they can take a shower. You say that the bureau of statistics say washing only kills 50% of germs but you have to link to backup your statement. According to http://www.m.webmd.com... 95% of males and 89% of females reported that they masturbate. It is the first sexual experience for kids and it very common. Thank you for the debate, it was fun!

5 point to Con (Arguments, Sources), 1 point to Pro (S&G). Reasons for voting decision: CON has some grammar mistakes. CON gave a very powerful rebuttal. CON had powerful points. PRO said that this debate is not about women but then gives arguments about women. CON brought reliable sources I know this is PRO's first debate, so hope you well in the future. Congrats CON. Condolences PRO.

[*Reason for removal*] (1) S&G is insufficiently explained. The voter has to establish that these mistakes impaired understanding of the arguments, and not just that they existed. (2) Arguments are insufficiently explained. The voter is required to specifically assess arguments made by both sides in the debate. All the voter does here is generalize about Con's arguments being strong and Pro's being contradictory. (3) Sources are insufficiently explained. Restating the point allocation is not an explanation.

7 points to Con. Reasons for voting decision: While neither group made an absolutely stellar argument, Panda brought up the deciding point in the debate, that masturbation is a choice, and that the law really can't stop people from masturbating.

[*Reason for removal*] The voter has to assess specific points made in the debate by both sides and weigh them against one another. In this case, the voter merely states the points they found convincing as a reason to vote for one side. That is not sufficient under the voting standards.

6 points to Con (S&G, Arguments, Sources). Reasons for voting decision: Pro has no ground to stand on whatsoever. Con did an excellent job of entertaining Pro's frankly ridiculous objections with factual evidence and acceptable counter arguments. Pro should not be on this website if he expects to be able to make claims without backing them up. What someone else does in the privacy of their own home is none of your business. Get over it.

[*Reason for removal*] The voter has to assess specific points made in the debate by both sides and weigh them against one another. In this case, the voter dismisses Pro's arguments as baseless and states that Con did a good job refuting them. Arguments from neither side are assessed, and the voter appears to insert their own views into the decision with the final two lines of this RFD. That is not sufficient under the voting standards.

What people do in the privacy of their bedrooms is no business of the state, it's as simple as that.
