Metal detectors do reduce violence because students couldn't bring weapons to school.

Pro

Metal detectors do reduce violence because students couldn't bring weapons to school. A middle school or high school student might bring a weapon to hurt someone but a elementary would be a less chance to bring weapons. Last year a student brought a knife into my school and never came back and we had to lock all the doors. Why take any chances?
dkpokusaev

Con

perhaps after that accident students know that that is no good

perhaps all school should do that accident but fake with fake student

Pro

I know metal detectors cost a lot but if that's what you need to keep students safe then why not get metal detectors? I think a students life is more important then buying metal detectors so i think all schools should get metal detectors. (Also this is my project at school is to debate on less violence for metal detectors in schools).

Con

I'm agreed that life is more expensive than more than money
but weapons maybe not metal and it would scare students from school because they would think that they are in danger.
