I hear a lot of people say that Mike Tyson was the best. I disagree with this. I would like to duke it out on here with someone who shares this misguided opinion.

1st Round for acceptance only.

i dont think mike tyson is fat enough to be heavy weight
Debate Round No. 1

A bit of an odd way to accept the debate but ok.

All I'm going to do for my opening statement is mention just a few past Heavyweight champions.

Lennox Lewis
Riddick Bowe
Evander Holyfield
Muhammad Ali
George Foreman
Joe Frazier
Joe Lewis
Sonny Liston
Jack Johnson
Rocky Marciano
Jack Dempsey

I just don't know how anyone can explain to me that Mike Tyson was better than all of these guys including the 2 that actually beat him. I'll leave it as simple as that for now to see what you come up with.

Thank you for accepting the debate challenge.

mike tyson has a video game
Debate Round No. 2

Doesn't sound like my opponent is taking this seriously so I shall make my next point brief seeing as though there is little chance of a meaningful comeback.

Mike Tyson never beat another good boxer. Every time Tyson came up against a good fighter he got beat. The only exception to this was Larry Holmes who had been retired for 2 years and was 38 years old. In an interview at Turning Stone Resort Casino Showroom in Verona, N.Y. Holmes said
"What I remember was Don King knocking at my door around 9 at night. I was retired two years. Don said he wanted me to fight somebody he said he knew I could beat. I asked him who, and he said, 'Mike Tyson.' I said I can't beat Mike Tyson.
Don said, 'What if I give you 3 " million dollars?,' and I said, 'Where's Mike at?"
At that same interview Tyson said
"It was a great opportunity to be in the ring with one of the great fighters of all time. It was a milestone in my career. He didn't have time to prepare. I never fought the great Larry Holmes."

mike tyson bit a dude and tyson is also a brand of chicken
Debate Round No. 3

No need for closing remarks except to say I've reported my opponents profile for repeatedly accepting debates with no intention of taking part.

Marciano was a hard bastard. Greatest? A debate for another time.
