The topic has had a long story and in USA it has played a major role in leaving black teenagers out of work, and currently the law is playing a major role in politics, whether the politicians want to increase it or not, one thing is crystal clear, the minimum wage policy is responsible for millions of people being unemployed

I assume, for the sake of this debate, that we are examining the minimum wage within the United States. First of all, I cannot find a connection between unemployment and the laughably low federal minimum wage. The minimum wage was put in place for a reason, to guarantee a minimum standard of living and to make sure employers didn't exploit the heck out of their employees, which occurred rampantly, and still occurs, all around the world. The only possible way one could remove the minimum wage in a feasible way is if very strong union participation was taking place, that is not the case in America.

Well first of all can I thank you for accepting the challenge.
The thing is not about only USA, it was an example of how horrible can the consequences of minimum wage be.
Secondly assuming that there is no connection between minimum wage and unemployment, and further claiming that the unions can do anything apart from destroying economy, is the first sign of not understanding basic economics.
Let me explain the relationship between those two. Most teenager who want to work, don't have the experience do deserve the minimum wage, and what happens is that companies refuse to pay them more than they are capable, which creates a teenage unemployment. And if there wasn't the minimum wage policy, they would work for say 5 dollars an hour and eventually acquire enough skills for 10, unfortunately some countries are ruled by backwards left wing parties, which reward laziness and take away from the working people, which eventually discourages teenagers.
Moving on to the second part, the unions. The history has been crystal clear that trade unions think that by destroying economy they can create wealth, that by pushing someone else down they can pull themselves up, that by making government intervene they can create a better workplace, however everybody knows who stands behind 40 hours a week work, official contracts, pay rise, weekends for workers.... that person was Henry Ford who introduced all these great ideas to attract the best workers into his company.
Now try to name me one achievement of any trade union, everywhere they get their hands into, turns into a economically backwards society whereby you are better off by sitting on sofa than by working and earning your keep.
And these things are the best things a worker can dream of, which once more proves that the freedom and free enterprise are the true foundations of national success, and that socialism is a blind alley of history, never to be ventured down again.
