Global politics names both the discipline that studies the political and economical patterns of the world and the field that is being studied. At the centre of that field are the different processes of political globalization in relation to questions of social power.

presupposes: tacitly assume at the beginning of a line of argument or course of action that something is the case.

victor: a person who defeats an enemy or opponent in a battle, game, or other competition

I accept the debate.

Taking the side of the CON and that will be the global politics does not define/result in a single victor.

BOP is shared.

Let me lead by example:

Are you familiar with this game?, are you familiar with the dynamics of all-in poker?

Look at Syria today. Not much has changed. Do you know of any games that possess such preordained catastrophic outcomes for the vanquished.(All or Nothing) My promptings are an effort on my part to 'marinate thought' on these considerations among the readership of this debate thread. All are welcome to contribute to the discussion that encircles this debate topic. Come back with something Bogcha, and we will proceed from there.

The alternative to this 'endgame' attitude is the following which is a strategy that is hardly ever considered.

I will not play tug o' war. I'd rather play hug o' war. Where everyone hugs instead of tugs, Where everyone giggles and rolls on the rug, Where everyone kisses, and everyone grins, and everyone cuddles, and everyone wins.

We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.
Winston Churchill

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
Bertrand Russell

The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
George S. Patton

The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.
John F. Kennedy

There is no avoiding war; it can only be postponed to the advantage of others.
