Nowadays, people are getting close together by text messages and facebook. In the past, it costs a lot of money and time to send a mail or a letter. However, if you use e-mail, it goes by a second. In a result, both way communication is possible nowadays, even without meeting each other. In addition, it is able to meet new friends in Internet sites and network services, such as facebook and twitter. So, it is clear that development in technology and science, made people not only comfortable, but close each other, too.

Are you aware how much easier it is for terrorist groups to form international alliances and plan on a worldwide basis now that, instead of a letter which would take about 20 days to travel across the world, there is instead an instant Facebook message which takes about 2 seconds if both have a decent internet connection? This is threat number one.

Another threat to society is how much easier it is for anonymous people, often using proxies to hide their IP addresses, to make fake accounts on websites and spread hate content to people such as Rebecca Black and Justin Bieber often assign them to out-right kill themselves with people saying "If such and such were shot it would be such a happy day of my life" and then the page of hate gets about a million facebook 'likes' if not more. More specifically is the case of Minister of (Australian) Parliament Ken Wyatt whose story can be found here: http://www.perthnow.com.au... in it can be found him stating "And yet it was out there in the media all the time (that I was an Aborigine). It was on one of my flyers." previously the report wrote that "It's the mail and phone calls that have surprised and hurt him most." So clearly despite the media spreading a message of cultural tolerance it seems its dominant function is as a means of hate, which is definitely a threat to society.

Another issue is how much easier it's become for pedophiles to do their work anonymously, they can appear as your daughter or son's friend merely playing along with their language and saying phrases like "lol that's so cool" while having no clue what it means but merely learning from observing how others speak on forums. They then arrange to meet, molest the child and leave psychological scars that can never quite be healed.
