Moose can take down an elaphant 1-on-1.

Hello, I am representing the con side of the debate for the motion that "Moose are not stronger than elephants."
I'll begin with my own points.

1. Ladies and gentlemen, if you type in "how many deaths do moose cause?" in the Google search bar, you will find reports of moose decreasing in population and only very few slaying humans. The only website even related to a moose killing says that only 2 people have died from a "moose attack" in the past 10 years near the Anchorage area, their primary home. This is definitely not extreme in any way, but the deaths caused by elephants are tremendous. If you tune into Animal Planet, you can see that elephants cause a mass amount of deaths in countries such as Africa. They trample and stampede when enraged, and with their massive, hulky bodies, they can crush and stomp anything with ease. An elephant in full charge can easily take out an infantry unit (CNN). That is why they were used by Hannibal during the Punic Wars vs. Rome. The elephants were so destructive that they were trained to become "war elephants." Certainly, no one has ever tamed moose to be "war moose." http://www.himandus.net... This website also says that elephants have been known to shove trains off the railroad due to anger and rage. A moose has never been reported to due such a thing, making it weaker than the elephant. An elephant also topples trees in order to get the better leaves, but a moose would never and can't ever do such a thing because it has a weaker body than the elephant.

2. Moose are easily killed. Humans can easily kill moose with weapons and the moose are instantly killed. Elephants, on the other hand, can take several severe punishments before death because they are simply stronger and can endure more. The video I posted shows that elephants can take punishment and are strong enough to drag cars and trains, something a frail moose cannot do. I will post new points in the next round.

I wish my opponent good lucky.

First of all i said nothing about how many humans are killed by moose i am mainly referring to how moose get into fights more and tend to be more vicious in fights than elephants. Also elephants are afraid of mice http://www.yesbutnobutyes.com... Also elaphants get into less fights and dont really attack people that often only rarely.

"First of all I said nothing about how many humans are killed by moose." That's cause you never said anything as an argument.

"Moose get into fights more and tend to be more vicious in fights than elephants." Uh, no, not really... When a moose fights with another moose, they use antlers and duel. When elephants get in fights, they stampede, kick, and can cause massive damage. I have previously shown that they can tip over cars and trucks when they're angry and they can endure human punishment in a fight. Moose cannot because they are weaker.

"Elephants are afraid of mice." Afraid is a mental state, and strong is a physical state, so that point is completely irrelevant. The moose has predators such as bears, humans, wolves, and wolverines. Since moose mainly stay in groups, it takes quite a few wolves to take down a moose, however, it could take just the same amount of wolves to fell a single or two elephants, due to their size and tremendous strength.

"Elaphants (elephants) get into less fights and dont really attack people." If elephants get into less fights than moose, then how are 500 humans killed every year by elephants? And how can you not "really attack people?"

My opponent has not refuted my points and has very scarce and weak points.

Okay... I deserve to win this debate because my opponent has failed to refute my points and the points he has given have been refuted.

Anything unrelated to elephants is irrelephant.

I'd like to remind the voters that moose have hooves. Do you have hooves? Didn't think so. Clearly a pro vote is in order here.

It really depends. I'll probably end up voting for myself, though, but not full points.

XstrikeX, we ate currently in a debate. Please let me know if you intend to vote for yourself. If you do I would like to vote myself in an identical manner ( ie same points, same catagories ) to level the playingfield so neither of us had an unfair advantage. I could not leave this comment on your profile as you are not accepting new comments at this time.

I still disagree somewhat. But you should make your "self vote" known to the readers up front ( as in they don't have to look through the votes ) and suggest your opponent vote for themselves also. But there is a very strong possibility that you or your opponent will be at least slightly bias. I think all voting should be left to the voting public. Wonder if there's a debate on this subject?

I wouldn't give spelling to myself, if E7C69 typed correctly.
I wouldn't give more convincing arguments to myself if my opponent even had a valid point.
And I wouldn't have given myself reliable sources if my opponent had even used a source. I used a video.

Well if u thought u lost there would be no point in having a debate. The idea is that you think your right and your opponent thinks he/ she is right. If your going to do that you should tell your opponent and the voters and recomend that your opponent do the same.
