  5. It must have singing in it (duh)
  6. Breaking these rules is bad! Very naugthy in fact, so naughtly you WILL BE PUNISHED by the voters, so don't break them.

I will accept your very interesting challenge, but could you please provide a definition of your topic?

Definitions…uh, okay:

MUSICAL “a play or film in which singing and dancing play an essential part. Musicals developed from light opera in the early 20th century.”

***

My solo is 'Heaven on Their Minds' from Jesus Christ Super Star (Carl Anderson, 1973 movie soundtrack).
The foreboding inner turmoil of this song perfectly introduces the character of Judas sets the conflict in the musical. You can hear the fear and frustration in his voice and the lyrics. Overall this is very strong piece…Which is why I chose it.

Um, hi. Been a while, well......
This is 'The I love you song' from the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. It's sung by a neglected girl (Olive) and her 'parents' (the two most comforting adults stand in as substitutes as them in their absences). I like it because it’s sad and has nice harmonies.
