On March 15, 1962, President JFK outlined our basic economic rights. Banning large sodas in New York is a violation of the forth right: The right to choose. [1] New Yorkers are not allowed to choose the larger drink. Why? Because the politicians think they know better than us. Instead of herding us like cattle and making us do something, they should treat us like the living, breathing and intelligent human beings that we are.

I was going to run social contract theory and argue that it legitimizes literally anything the gov does but don't feel up to it right now.
