The continuous change in someone's life always brings up someting good. Not necassarily good, but better than the situation the individual was in. This is my theory do you aggree?
TN05

Con

I disagree with this concept for several important reasons.

Change can and does result in negative situations. For example, it would certainly be 'change' if someone's house was destroyed and they had to live on the street as a hobo, but would that be a better situation than before? Of course not. Another example would be if you were attacked on the street by a knife-wielding maniac who cuts off your left arm and right leg. That would certainly be change, but is it for the better? Of course not. Because the resolution says change is always better, the resolution is negated.

I surely agree with your point of view you which covers life's accidents. My apologies, I should've modified the subject: new is always better in the world of opportunities.

Con

I'm not sure what you mean here. Are you ceding the debate, or changing the scope?

Reasons for voting decision: After Con pointed out why Pro was wrong, Pro tried to change the resolution. That is unfair, but anyway he forfeited so even his other resolution was not defended.
