Hi guys ..I'm speaking for the motion ...i think exams should not be there..Exams are the worst enemies..as most people say exams help a child to move forward in his journey of life...Exams also sometimes stop their journey of life ..some childern due to a lot of pressure..commit sucides....so VOTE FOR PRO

Hi mate ..i think you should focus more on not wasting your turns.u just wasted one trn asking about resolution..
I dont have much time to.waste..you need to speak about how are exams good.
So ..i was talking about how are exams bad... Exams are a total wastage of time..if you want to take tests ..there are formatives in every school..But a test of 100 marks 3 hours is too much...
Because of these long exams, some children try to not focus on sports ,dance ,etc and become bookworms..

Rebuttals:

R1: I am not convinced that exams make kids suicide. Pro needs to back up his statements with a reference. Everything else here is gibberish that I do not need to answer to.

R2: Exams are only a waste of time if the time is not well spent. Also, I contend that being a bookworm is a good thing.

My 1st point:

Exams give an indication of what a student knows. This actually saves time, so the teacher knows what the class needs to learn next. Exams are a useful tool.

I have refuted all the arguments that I can make sense of, and my opponent has not refuted my arguments, and also loses the conduct point due to FF. Vote Con!

5 points to Con (Conduct, S&G, Arguments). Reasons for voting decision: Mostly gibberish and unfounded claims by Pro. Better conduct and reasoning displayed by Con

[*Reason for removal*] (1) The voter doesn't justify S&G or conduct (merely stating that one side earned the latter is not enough). (2) The voter insufficiently justifies arguments, merely stating that one sides arguments were so bad that the other side deserved it based on nebulous "reasoning". The voter has to directly assess specific arguments made by both sides.

It's short by necessity. He needs time for all those exams.

Left is making a really strong pro-exam, pro-education case. Excellent first two openings. Whenever I make my kids do homework, I point to the pro arguments and they study really, really hard. So motivating in a "living in a van down by the river" way. Well done.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct - FF - point goes to Con S & G - NUMEROUS RULES OF GRAMMAR (capitalization, spelling, sentence fragments, etc.) ARE BROKEN. WHY DOES THIS NEED TO BE SPECIFIED? CON DIDN'T HAVE NEARLY AS MANY GRAMMATICAL ERRORS, SO POINT GOES TO CON. Pro's argument that exams cause suicide are unfounded, and they never gave any evidence supporting the claim. Also, Con refuted Pro's claim about exams being a waste of time and gave reasoning behind that claim (ie, the teacher knows what the class needs to learn next). That argument was not refuted by Pro, as Pro forfeited the next turn. Is that good enough reasoning for my vote?!?

Reasons for voting decision: Pro forfeited so conducto goes to Con. Con was successful in refuting Pro's arguments and in creating new ones. Pro couldn't refute Con's arguments, nor propose different arguments from the ones refuted. Con wins.
