Resolved: No schools should teach sex ed. I strongly disagree

Definitions:

Teach: To give knowledge of a skill or to give instructions.
Sexual education: To teach the reprocautions of having premaridal sex and if u wish to have pre meridal sex safe ways to do it, also teaches how babies are made.

Value: Sex ed. is a much needed program in schools because it teaches teenagers that its better to wait to have sex also it teaches safe ways to have inter course and the reprocautions of having premaridal sex.

First Contention: Sex ed. teaches kids that it is better to wait to have sex because there are so many troubles that kids colud get involoved in with pre marridal sex. for eample at my school there are several girls that are pregnant and the challanges that have been handed to them i dont feel they are ready to handle sense they are so young.

Second Contention: Sex ed. teaches kids that are interested in sex safe ways to have intercourse. While in my sex ed. class i learned several important things such as how there are proper condoms to use like trojan brand and all the big name brands are better to use rather then gas station condoms which are oftenly thin and not well made, also i learned that lamb skin condoms are terrible to use because skin has pores these pores are little holes which sperm can get through and possibly fertalize an egg. Lastly i learned about spermacide which greatly decreases the chances of sperm fertilizing an egg if the condom were to break.

Third Contention: Sex ed. is very important because many parents will not discuss sex with there kids because it may be ockward or they dont know there kids are curioius about it. sense this is a possibility sex ed. gives the child a chance to understand how sex works and the pros and cons of having sex.

Resolved: No schools should teach sex ed. and i strongly disagree

i am no open to clarrification and cross examination

Pro

parents should tell their kids about it and as a parent you should have "the talk" with your child because most parents don't approve of it and do not want the school teaching them and schools should respect their wishes. also some times the school would glitz it up a bit like use condoms but just because you use a condom does not mean you wont get pregnant and if you use birth control you might get pregnant they make it sound like that if you do use some thing that has to do with safe sex you don't get pregnant but thats not true.

The main point that Pro does not get is that many children do not have parents that care enough, or are educated adequately about sex, to teach the facts. If children are not educated, they are still likely to engage in sexual activity. Sex education simply informs them how to do so without procreating or acquiring an STD. Also, I would like to see a bit more attention paid to spelling by Con. I have difficulty discerning the content of your argument, due to your spelling mistakes.
