No such thing as JC
Debate Rounds (3)
I believe that there is no such thing as JC.
Being that my opponent has now assumed the role of Pro, they obviously have the BoP.
I would love to hear your arguments for how Jesus Christ does not exist. If you fail to provide arguments, you will not fulfill your BoP, and I may be tempted to bring up the fact that you essentially gave up in the first round by choosing Pro, and then stating that you agreed with the topic.
For example, you can check out this-
and read this from Wikipedia-
"Virtually all modern scholars of antiquity agree that Jesus existed historically,"
and there is this-
In a 2011 review of the state of modern scholarship, Bart Ehrman wrote, "He certainly existed, as virtually every competent scholar of antiquity, Christian or non-Christian, agrees".
And, if you follow the link of where that quote is from, it is a book devoted to criticizing the bible and its authors. Even he agrees that, without a doubt, Jesus Christ did exist.
Voters, in this debate I have shown that "JC", both as an acronym and as Jesus Christ. It also seems to me that my opponent has failed to meet their BoP. For all of these reasons, I urge you to vote for me.
