Nuclear Energy is the cleanest renewable energy resource. It provides the most amount of energy at the least expense. It is also arguably the safest renewable resource currently in the United States. Due to these reasons, nuclear energy is the best renewable resource .

Here are the reasons why is it bad:
- Radiation is the problem, it can kill hundred to thousands people, and just imagine the chernobyl nuclear power, it killed 40000 people.
- A nuclear meltdown is more worse, it is just like a nuclear explosion.
- Vulnerable to hackers, such as Stuxnet.
- Uranium is expensive to buy.
And i personally think that hydro is the best renewable source.
- Much cleaner and very safe to use.
- Cheap to buy.
- Should be used to power coastal cities.
The bad thing about it:
- Kills fishes.
- Not too much electricity to produce.

Our use of Uranium is the problem, not Nuclear power. Our reactors use Uranium because when our nuclear infrastructure was created, we had a need to kill people too, and other available elements were not as conducive to this end. There is an abundant supply of Thorium in our earth's crust. It is far, far less radioactive than Uranium, difficult/impossible to weaponize, and Thorium molten salt reactors are not susceptible to meltdown and contamination in the same way as their counterpart Uranium light and heavy water reactors. The problem is that our species invested in the wrong element, and that is a problem that can be rectified by investing in alternatives.

Nuclear energy is not a renewable resource. There's also the problem of what to do with the waste.
