Are we taking it to far for blaming fast food for obesity? When is it the individual and when is it appropriate to blame?

Fat people should be held accountable for their fat, not the fast food. It is their decision to buy complete cheap garbage. If why would we blame the fast food chains if they are supplying a steady supply of good for those who may not have other wise

I believe that placing blame on fast food restaurants for obesity is ridiculous. Many people know how bad fast food is for ones health and body, not all are aware but majority are aware that the food they are eating is bad. McDonald's and Burger King are not forcing burgers and nuggets down people's throat. It is the person who eats the food that is risking there health. I believe that placing blame on fast food chains for obesity is absurd.

It seems that this is only verbalized states of mind. Where is the propositions? I do remember teaching traditional logic and find this debate to be a little off.

I believe your trying to argue that its not the fast food provider but consumer that is too blame for "being fat".
