Pro

Pick a word. Best word wins. Your word must be in bold. Then use the word in a sentence. Best word and sentence wins. The sentence does not need to end with a full stop, it must simply be in context.
Disquietude

With mad disquietude on the dull sky,
The pall of a past world; and then again
With curses cast them down upon the dust...-- Lord Byron, darkness.

Con

Parthenophobia (http://en.wiktionary.org...)

After Pedobear's plan on entering Goldilocks' home backfired, he began to suffer from Parthenophobia due to his nightmares about the failed attempt and began to seek medical treatment in exchange for 100 counts of child abuse charges.

It's a beautiful poetic Italian word. Like a french woman swaying in the wind on a wine plantation as the wind echoes the disquietude of the small young man hiding and watching, grasping for the courage to ask her a simple complex question...

If Pedobears had parthenophobia, the world would be a better place.

Just wondering, what makes a 'state of uneasiness' a passionate word? (http://www.google.at...) ?:P

Anyways, good game.

pff. Disquietude is better. it has SOUL. It has PASSION. It is like an Italian dancer turning gracefully in the moonlight of a raining November evening.

Reasons for voting decision: I understand why people are choosing Con's word, but I myself consider "disquietude" to be a better, more poetic and meaningful choice. Pro' own excerpt highlights the dimensions of uneasiness that are briefly, but brilliantly, captured in Lord Byron's poem, of a darkness manifest and curses cast down "upon the dust"...

Reasons for voting decision: Con took a word that is obscure and turned it into something I wish to use to poke jabs at my friends with on a regular basis. used it well in a sentence, and cited his source for the word. Pro's word was so obscure I cant remember it as I write this, and I find little use for his word in modern social settings. Pro did cite a source (the author) but not a definition.
