The first round here does not count, but to only introduce my contender. When you agree to this debate you will be on the pro side (Penguins can fly) debating against me on the con side (penguins can not fly.)

I accept this debate. I will prove that penguins can fly. :P
Oh this should be fun.

Pro has failed to prove that penguins can fly.
As such I shall now induct my argument.

I. Penguin Comic
This photo (http://www.debate.org...) shows a comic of two penguins reenacting the Titanic scene, in which Rose says "Am I flying Jack?" to which Jack responds "You're flying." Thus, the penguin would be flying.

II. Helicopter Penguin!
Another idea (http://www.debate.org...)(obviously edited, yes, but used as an example), in which where penguins could be flying on a helicopter. While he may not be the one piloting, he can ride along as a passenger. He would still be flying.

III. Underwater "Flying"
Penguins have the potential ability to "fly" underwater, at speeds up to 15-20mph. They cannot fly in the air, but that does not mean they cannot fly in a different state of matter. Most birds are not able to swim, but they can fly. It depends on what the bird is used to.

These three points, unless refuted, stand to prove that penguins can fly.
Thanks :)

And a final forfeit from my opponent. He has successfully failed to prove penguins cannot fly.
Vote wisely :)
