People in secondary school should not have to go to school on their birthday
Debate Rounds (2)
It's agreeable that having to go to school isn't the first thing you've got on your birthday wish-list, but it's a fact of life that you will have to engage in activities that you don't necessarily enjoy.
Imagine if you had an exam on your birthday: would you demand it to be moved to another day, just because today happens to be the day you were born?
Demanding that birthdays should be a good reason to skip school is ridiculous and moderately selfish and would actually cause more of a disruption in the education system than anything else.
