People's behavior is largely determined by forces not of their own making.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
Just think about it. Take someone famous out of a hat. I picked J.K Rowling. She was forced into an unhappy marriage and lived a miserable life and then she created marvellous books to cover up for that. Since they are famous, you might have negative viewpoints towards my argument. Take your own life as an example now. When you were little, did you stand up to your mother and tell her to get out of the house when she told you to do the chores? You probably didn't, right? When you grow older, do you be kind because you want to be or because how people taught you to. It's about how you were taught to make your decisions, so originally, those decisions came from someone bigger, someone who knew more than you who shaped your behaviour to be so.
