D&D is soooo boring and complex. Poke mom is easier. Go CHARIZARD!!!!
UnsweetIceTea

Con

DnD, while difficult to set up, can, in many places, be better than Pokemon. Once you get into Dungeons and Dragons, your play does not have a story mode that immediately ends once you beat it. Pokemon, which I do enjoy, has limited play. Once you beat the pokedex and beat a game three times, it gets boring. You memorize the plotline and all hidden things, and you are over. In Dungeons and Dragons, your dungeon master can always make a new dungeon where everything is different. All the rules and difficult set up in Dungeons and Dragons just make the game better for you in the long term. You have so many more options to do anything, and your "controls" are not limited to A B and the D-Pad, but almost every word in the English language!

I think a lot of this has to do with what makes a game 'good'. If you mean flexibility of playstyle and freedom, then D&D outdoes pokemon without question. If you mean graphics, then pokemon is almost certainly better than D&D. I think a lot of the problem though is that it's really hard to compare a tabletop and video game. In a tabletop game, oftentimes there is no winning. Rather, the game can be about role-playing characters or telling a story. If everyone had a good time and spun an interesting tale when all their characters died, that could be considered a good campaign/game.

Reasons for voting decision: Con manages to rebut Pro's argument that Pokemon is better than D&D, which proves that while D&D may be difficult to learn, but is more enjoyable and does not get boring as Pokemon does. Pro ffs and by result gives the argument to Con. Pro uses poor grammar and spelling, while Con provides somewhat better structure. Neither Pro nor Con provide any sources to support their argument.
