1.Politicians (of any party) never get anything done. They spend forever talking about reform and they always blame the other party.
2. Taxation is theft
3.The state does not govern society
4. When politicians get in to office they make these programs to "fix" the problems
All these nationalized programs never fix any problems. They just increase taxes and when it doesn't work they say oh we need reform!!!

1. Politicians Never Get Anything Done.

This is not true. Politicians are responsible for passing legislation. The fact that we have laws not only in the U.S. but around the world completely discredits Pro's false premise. Not to mention that politicians are also responsible for establishing (or working towards) peace relations and other goals. In the past few months alone, various leaders from several countries met and made decisions and declarations about where various nations stood on certain issues. Even if this is not directly enacting legislation, this is taking steps toward legislation and other relations which is in fact a form of accomplishment.

2. Taxation Is Theft.

Again, not true. Taxation is a sum of money demanded by a government for its support or for specific facilities or services. Additionally, citizens agree to be taxed. This is because they not only elect their representatives who enact these taxes, but also have a say (especially in local government) about what they would and would not like their taxes to be spent on. If they disagree with the appropriation of their taxes, the citizens have the ability to exercise their democratic rights and seek to establish a more improved economy and political atmosphere suitable to their wants and needs.

3. The State Does Not Govern Society.

If the State refers to the government, then this statement is absolutely false. If Pro disagrees, I challenge him to provide an explanation or example of what he means.

4. Politicians Never Fix Any Problems.

Tell that to Abraham Lincoln.

"I wonder why debate.org doesnt allow for indefinite rounds! lol but 5 is hardly any I could go on for at least 30 rounds. This could be my first serious debate idk I could pull something off by round 5"

30 rounds of doing what? Even I could last 30 rounds in a debate against theLwerd if all I had to do was forfeit every round after the first...

"Extend my arguments, I guess, until Pro responds."
+7 points for CON for an infinitely extended argument. :D

I'll take this if you limit it to three rounds and get rid of the indefinite voting period.
