Power is an abstract concept... We could say that it doesn't exist because that's the product of two concrete concepts : titles and money. To my mind, celebrity doesn't count in this notion, but it's an other debate. Well, if we follow the question asked by the topic, the most rich and the most "important" (who have the best places, titles) are sensed to be the most power man. Look the bigger picture, it makes a circle : money gives importance and the ways to "look" powerful, and the titles give money and prestige. Don't these assets make the power ? I think they do. Well, I think this notion is useful mathematically, because we can speak about an average between titles and money, and I think that's interessant. It's your turn to express your opinion, dear concurrent :) .
